Our 2025 Committees
Cane Creek Community Council, Inc operates on a zero-based committee structure. Here is how it works:

The Board starts each year with a clean slate of no committees.

At the beginning of the year, the Board determines its organizational strategy and priorities.

Then the Board establishes the committees and task forces based on its current needs. These groups are formed with the understanding that the group will disband once the objective is met or when the Board decides they should at the next annual review of committees.

CONNECT
This is our SOCIAL committee. This group is responsible for planning a minimum of four (4) social events for the community per year. These events will be family friendly with the primary goal of giving the community opportunities to have some fun while getting to know one another.
GROW
This is our EDUCATION committee. This group will be planning events, classes, workshops, etc. The primary focus is on growth in knowledge, skills, resources, etc. They will be looking for ideas, instructors, and resources to benefit our community, whether that is in preserving our local ways, or learning a new farming technique, or offering specific resources.
SERVE
This committee will be helping to coordinate our SERVICE PROJECTS. This committee is responsible for coordinating the various volunteers and service days, to help accomplish our goals both at the community center and around the community. They will also help to identify and match skill sets with community needs.
BEAUTIFY
This is our PROPERTY committee. This group will be responsible for the general maintenance of our building and grounds, as well as coming up with maintenance schedules. They will help to bring creative solutions and ideas for how to enhance our community center property. They will work closely with our Service Committee to coordinate the various service projects.
